I'm actually not that fussy about what I get. If I can recall I think I put up prompts that can be written from a range of perspectives; comedy, drama, horror etc. I myself nearly always write on the dark side of life and I can twist the most innocuous prompt into gut churning mayhem :)
I do enjoy seeing the 'minor' characters involved, especially Agnes (the junk lady) and the Labyrinth herself as a sentient being.
Anyways, have fun with the prompts. If you get stuck let DM know and I can elaborate or even toss in a few extra starters if you want. Now, I have to go throw my recipients lovely innocent little prompts into an oubliette and let them fester a while.....

A few months ago my workmates (God love 'em) got me a tandem skydive for my 40th Birthday. Anyhow, here be a picture of a suitably terrified me......

It's been a year full of huge changes for me and I accomplished it all under the burden of turning forty!

Nothing ever runs smoothly! Anyhow, I'm all moved in to my new house (which is actually an old house but it's new to me). The move went ok, nothing was broken or went missing. It's just taken two weeks for my phone company to connect me! Apparently the line from the exchange to my house was busted and had to be replaced. After a thousand calls to the
I'm in my own house though, so many hours of squeeing have kept me occupied enough while I was offline. Paying that last rent cheque was something special. The friendly letter I got from the bank detailing my now huge debt, less so!

I has a puppy! My mum bought me a pup as an early birthday present. He's seven weeks old, a Jack Russell terrier and I've called him Nelson. He's very cute, white with black and tan splotches and like every new puppy he spent the greater part of his first night whimpering and crying. At three in the morning I was reminded of how long it's been since I've raised a pup (like 15 years or more) and I think I looked like a bleary eyed new parent when I turned up for work today!
Anyhow, here's hoping for a great friendship :)

Well I've started Uni at last! Just two and half years to go......
On a lighter note, I am of course the proud owner of my own Dansemacabre story. A gorgeous Labyrinth work of art, written just for me. I've printed it off so I can sigh lovingly at it and happily pretend that one day I'll be able to write as well as that ;)
and,
The lovely Wendy of The Tenth Kingdom fame has taken an idea of mine to use on the new official 10K website (coming soon). I was tickled pink to see the Kaz' Mouse-o-Meter! It's so pretty and funny and Wendy has even added all my little footnotes :)
I've been a very lucky girl!

And the best part? You could tell, from his voice, his manner, his expression, that he actually meant what he was saying personally. This was no political point scoring exercise. This was as sincere as it gets, and how rarely do we see that from politicians? This day will be long remembered.
Thank you Mr Rudd.

Merry Christmas flist and friends :) It's nearly over here and I've eaten way too much. Belch.
Hmm.
In other news, I've finally decided to upgrade my nursing qualifications. This will mean two years studying (externally), which is something I've not done for nearly 20 years!

Well I've finally splashed out and got a new computer, since my old one was taking about half an hour just to startup. So far so good, I managed to connect everything without an explosion. I'm not so sure about Windows Vista though. It does odd things without asking. But my monitor is the best part; going from a tiny 15inch CRT to a 22inch LCD is like sitting in a cinema! I'm having to sit so far away my arms don't reach the keyboard, quite.
